What's Todays Vision for Education?

As you watch this short video that was created by Michael Wesch in collaboration with 200 Kansas State University students, it summarizes some imporrant charactersitics of what is happening today with how some are still learning, what needs to be taught, student's goals, hopes, dreams, what their lives will be like, and what kinds of changes they will experience in their lifetime.

  1. Thank you so very much for sharing this heart-warming video. It speaks volumes for our children. Their visions are determined by the teachers and facilitators who they are entrusted to Monday-Friday. Technology is one aspect that opens closed doors for so many of our children. The more technologially equipped they are, the better their chances are for succeeding. Being a student at UWA in this class has shown me a broader realm of all of the technologies out there that were unknown to me. That's what we have to do as teachers, provide our students with a gourmet meal of leaning rather than an sandwich.
